This event was held to celebrate the achievement of performing over 3000 Liver transplants at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The event was held on Saturday 14th June 2008 at the Edgebaston Cricket Ground Birmingham.
Everyone enjoyed the day. Nick Owen (from Midlands Today) was the celebrity and is also patron to the Volunteers at the hospital.
It was also a fitting day to celebrate the expertise and dedication of all the medical staff associated with the Liver Unit.
