                                                 LIVER OUTPATIENT DEPARTMENT, SELF CHECK IN AND CAR PARKING FOR PATIENTS
 
                                                THE LIVER OUTPATIENTS DEPARTMENT IS NOW IN THE NEW QE HOSPITAL.
 
 
 
SELF CHECK IN
 
The new Queen Elizabeth Hospital operates  self check in kiosks for instructions how to use them please read below;
 
    Help is at hand if you have dificulty using these machines      
                                       
         If you have your letter with you:
  • On the screen in front of you, select the language you would like to use
  • You will be asked whether you have your appointment letter with you
  • If you have your letter, scan the barcode at the top of the letter
  • You will be asked to confirm your personal details
  • You will be asked to sit in the main waiting area
 
        If you dont have your letter with you:
  • Select the language you would like to use
  • You will be asked whether you have your appointment letter with you
  • Select that you dont have your letter
  • You will be asked whether you are Male or Female
  • You will be asked to select your month of birth
  • You will be asked to select the date in the month you were born
  • You will be asked for your postcode
  • You will be asked to confirm your personal details
  • You will be asked to sit in the main waiting area

       What happens next?

   You will remain in the main waiting area until your name appears on one of the wall mounted TV screens.
   A team of nurses will be based in the main waiting area and will be there to help you.
   When your name is displayed on the screen, it will direct you to your clinic, where you will be greeted by a                             member of the team.
   Hospital volunteers are usually in attendance for any help needed.
 
 
 
 
                                                                                                   LIVER UNIT WARD AND DIRECTIONS
 
The Liver Unit ward is situated in the new Queen Elizabeth Hospital, it is situated in the first pod (left one of the three above)
ward 726

DIRECTIONS TO THE LIVER UNIT WARD
 
 
 
 ENTER HOSPITAL THROUGH ROTATING DOORS OR WHEELCHAIR ACCESS TO LEFT.
 
 
 
Once inside the hospital, turn right by information desk, past W.H.Smith's, to bottom of corridor, through doors and lifts are in front of you.
Take the lift to the 7th Floor,  on reaching the 7th floor turn right out of lift, down the corridor through sets of doors and look for ward 726 on the right.. Then buzz intercom for access.
PLEASE NOTE!! There is a lot of walking involved, if you are unable to walk very far, a wheelchair is recomended. These are available in the main Atrium.

Liver Outpatients Department.
 
 DIRECTIONS.    
On entering the new hospital keep left of the main reception area continue down the corridor to area 2 on your left.

                             Car parking charges do apply except for disabled badge holders.
 

    (If you are visiting patients/relatives on a long term basis you can get a weekly car parking ticket

                 from the ticket machine at reduced rates, please check on entry. presently £17.40
